While in Iraq during its occupation, a squad of soldiers from the United States must stand guard over a tiny village. In the process, they become attached to its residents and take personal responsibility for their well-being. As the citizens face increasing danger, these soldiers are willing to put themselves at great risk in order to protect the men, women and children they have come to know and care for so deeply.
